Strong wind expected in Azerbaijan

Tomorrow, April 15, strong winds are expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in some regions of the country.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the National Hydrometeorological Service has declared yellow and orange weather hazard levels in connection with the expected weather conditions.

According to the information, in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Kalbajar, Lachin, Zangilan, Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Sheki, Oguz, Gabala, Ismayilli, Gazakh, Agstafa, Tovuz, Shamkir, Shamakhi, Dashkesan, Gadabay, Goygol, Ganja, Naftalan, Goranboy, Samukh, Mingachevir, Neftchala, Salyan, Bilasuvar, Hajigabul, Lerik and Yardimli, western winds will blow at speeds of 13.9-20.7 m/s.

In Baku and Absheron, Gobustan, Khizi, Siyazan, Shabran, Khachmaz, Guba and Gusar, northwestern winds are expected, with speeds reaching 20.8-28.4 m/s.
