Prison-type basement discovered in Khankendi

A long tunnel and a basement inside it were discovered in Khankendi.

As Trend reports, the entrance door to the prison-type basement is located on one of the central streets of the city.

The iron doors of the prison cells were locked from the outside with four bolts. It is said that an Armenian military officer lived in one of the apartments located above the entrance to the tunnel.

It has been established that the basement, previously used as a prison, served as a shelter during the Patriotic War.
