Journalist Shahnaz Beylargyzy has been detained

Journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi (Huseynova) detained in Toplum TV case.

As Oxu.az reports, this fact was confirmed by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is noted that S.Beylargizi was detained due to investigative necessity, and an investigation is ongoing.

Recall that on March 6, information spread on social networks about searches conducted at the Toplum TV office and the presence of detainees. Based on the received information, law enforcement officers conducted operational search activities at the office located at: Narimanov district, Y.Chemenzeminli street, building 98B, as well as at other addresses.

The Khatai District Court chose detention as a preventive measure against Toplum TV co-founders Akif Gurbanov, Alesker Ahmedoglu (Mammadli), as well as employee and founder of the "Platform III Republic" Ruslan Izzetli. A criminal case has been initiated against them under Article 206.3.2 (smuggling committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
