In Azerbaijan, these citizens will be able to retire 5 years earlier

"If a woman has 5 or more children, and she raised them until they were 8 years old, according to Article 8 of the Law 'On Labor Pensions', the retirement age for such women is reduced by 5 years".
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by Parvin Alizade, a specialist of the Social Payments Department of the SSPF, in an interview with AzTV.
According to P. Alizade, currently (in 2025) the retirement age for women is set at 64 years, and if a citizen has already turned 59, she will be assigned a social benefit of 220 manats or a pension if she has the right to a pension.
"In addition, if a citizen is a woman with 5 or more children, she is less than 59 years old and has children under 18, she can receive a benefit intended for women with more than 5 children. In another case, if a citizen cares for a child with a disability, a 5-year benefit also applies to her. Let's put it this way, this happens in parallel. Either a woman must have 5 or more children, or she must care for a child with a disability for the retirement age to be reduced by 5 years. In both cases, the age of 59 is established.
If a citizen cares for a healthy child under 8 years of a deceased person, they are assigned a benefit of 120 manats. In addition, for caring for a child with a disability, a benefit of 100 manats is assigned," explained P. Alizade.
