In Azerbaijan, a TikToker extorted 836 thousand from her ex-boyfriend

The first preparatory court hearing was held in the criminal case of the famous TikToker Aybeniz Khalilova, known under the pseudonym "Beniz".
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to unikal, during the preparatory hearing presided over by Judge Fakhri Mammadov of the Baku Court for Serious Crimes, the personal data of the accused was clarified. A decision was made to leave the preventive measure in the form of detention unchanged and to transfer the criminal case to judicial investigation.
The continuation of the preparatory hearing is scheduled for June 10. It should be noted that a criminal case was initiated against the TikToker with the pseudonym "Beniz" under Articles 182.2.2 and 182.2.4 (extortion) of the Criminal Code after her lover Kh.Kerimov filed a complaint with the Police Department of Surakhani district. The criminal case was initiated based on evidence provided by the applicant. In his statement, the victim indicated that Aybeniz Khalilova demanded 836 thousand manats from him in parts. By decision of the Surakhani District Court, a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen against her.
