Heavy rain and wind disrupted the operation of traffic lights on several streets in Baku

Due to rainy and windy weather in Baku, traffic lights on several streets and avenues of the capital have experienced malfunctions. The causes include both power outages and technical failures.

This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to Omar Khidyrov, head of the public relations sector of the ITMC, the department's employees are working in an enhanced mode to eliminate the malfunctions as quickly as possible.

Drivers are urged to strictly observe road signs and rules for crossing unregulated intersections until the traffic lights are restored.
