Fight at an Azerbaijani wedding: singer got into a fight with a guest over a song request

In the Agdash district, an incident occurred that marred a wedding celebration. In one of the banquet halls in the village of Yukhari Gesil, musicians brutally beat a 64-year-old guest.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to lent.az, the conflict erupted over a song request.

The victim, 64-year-old N.Huseynov, filed a police report stating that he was attacked by a singer and his brother.

The press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the incident. In response to lent.az's inquiry, department representatives reported that an appropriate examination has been ordered to determine the severity of injuries sustained by the victim. Two suspects in the attack have already been detained.

Law enforcement agencies are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
