"I don't know how much you pay Fernando Santos, but if you gave even 1/10 of this amount to an Azerbaijani coach, he would achieve victory at least once every three months."

This was written by the chairman of the committee on public associations and religious organizations of the Milli Mejlis, Fazil Mustafa, on his social media account, commenting on the defeat of the Azerbaijan national team by Belarus.

According to him, the team that lost to Belarus at home with a score of 0:2 is indeed a "national team."

"Where it was gathered from, how it was gathered - is unknown. This is exactly a national team in the literal sense. Because a national team doesn't look like that," he noted.

According to F. Mustafa, Azerbaijan has neither football management nor football in the modern sense:

"There is simply a football enterprise managed by a privileged group of people far removed from football. It's a semi-private, semi-collective enterprise. Sometimes it seems that the 'Karabakh' team arrived from another planet. Since they cannot touch these aliens from another planet, they cannot interfere with them.
