Fatal traffic accident in Baku led to the death of two people

The condition of those injured in a severe traffic accident that occurred in the Lokbatan settlement of the Garadagh district of Baku has been revealed.

In response to a request from BAKU.WS to the Medical Territorial Units Management Association (TƏBİB), it was reported that on April 23, 9 people diagnosed with "injuries to various body parts" were hospitalized in the emergency department of the Clinical Medical Center.

"The victims received necessary medical care and underwent examinations. Three of them underwent surgery, one was placed in the intensive care unit. Currently, the provision of necessary medical care continues," the information states.

A tragic fatal traffic accident occurred in the Garadagh district of Baku, in the territory of the Lokbatan settlement.

According to information provided by eyewitnesses to the BAKU.WS "hotline," on April 23 around 18:00, "Lada" and "Hyundai" vehicles collided on the Lokbatan-Puta road.

As a result of the accident, several people received injuries of varying severity. Two victims died at the scene before the arrival of medical assistance.
