Demolition of houses at two addresses in Baku - Compensation amount for residents increased

Calculation works are being carried out in Baku in connection with the upcoming demolition in two districts of the city.

According to information received by BAKU.WS, this concerns private residential houses in the territory of the Yasamal district.

Special commissions have already been sent to private houses located on Suleyman Rahimov Street, to the right of the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater. If previously commission members took into account the number of residents when calculating compensation, now an exact count of the square meters of houses is being made. The calculations take into account all rooms of one and two-story houses, including basements and storage rooms.

The second area where similar work is being carried out is around the "Tezepir" mosque on Nizami and Leo Tolstoy streets. Calculation work is being conducted in private houses in the area from the lower part of school No. 150 to the back of the General Prosecutor's Office building.

After reaching an agreement with residents, the demolition of private houses at both addresses will begin. If previously residents were offered compensation in the amount of 2000 AZN, now it is reported that the amount has increased and is about 2500-3000 AZN.
