Azerbaijan proposes to ban children's access to TikTok

In Azerbaijan, an action plan should be adopted to strengthen child protection mechanisms in connection with the development of artificial intelligence.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, the corresponding proposal was made by the head of the department of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Issues, Elgun Safarov, at a round table on the topic "Protection of children in cyberspace and joint actions against digital threats."
According to him, some countries have already banned children from accessing the popular social network TikTok.
"We also need to take steps in this direction. In addition, countries such as France, the United Kingdom, and others have already adopted National Action Plans in this area," noted E. Safarov.
