Azerbaijan extradited detained citizen of Uzbekistan

Azerbaijan extradited a citizen of Uzbekistan who was wanted by Interpol to his homeland.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of Uzbekistan, the extradition of 27-year-old Abror Akbarov, accused of tax evasion on an especially large scale, was ensured.

Akbarov was detained in Azerbaijan in January of this year and taken into custody. The extradition was carried out under escort by the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan.
