Who is the newly appointed chairman of the Supervisory Board of TƏBİB?

By the order of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AR) Ilham Aliyev, the composition of the Supervisory Board of the public legal entity "Association for Management of Medical Territorial Units" (TƏBİB) has been approved.

According to the order, the Assistant to the President of the AR on socio-economic issues has been appointed as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Currently, this position is held by Khalid Akhadov.

Khalid Nureddin oglu Akhadov was born on February 4, 1980. In 2002, he graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a master's degree in "finance and credit." In 2012, he received a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Instituto de Empresa (IE) Business School in Spain, and in 2019, a Master's degree in Public Administration from the London School of Economics (LSE) in the United Kingdom.

Since 1999, he began working in the banking sector. He held various managerial positions at Bank of Baku (1999-2012), Unibank (2012-2016), and also served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Atəşgah sığorta and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Millikart processing center.

In 2016, he held the position of Chairman of the Board of AzərTürkBank, and from December 2016 to March 2018, he served as Chairman of the Board of ABB and was elected a member of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan Banks Association.

From August 28, 2018, he served as Assistant to the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and since November 17, 2022, he has been the Assistant to the President of the AR on socio-economic issues.

On February 27, 2026, he was appointed a member of the newly established Digital Development Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He is married and has three children. His father, Nureddin Akhadov, was a deputy of the XII convocation of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
