Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the premiere of the opera "Cinderella"

On April 19, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the premiere of the opera "Cinderella" at the Heydar Aliyev Palace. The performance was staged by the world-famous Moscow Musical Theater Helikon-Opera with a cast of 200 artists.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the opera by Azerbaijani composer Leonid Weinstein, performed by Helikon-Opera, is a stage production that every little princess should see. The music by Leonid Weinstein, a student of the great Gara Garayev, is vibrant and memorable. The opera presented at the Heydar Aliyev Palace was conducted by People's Artist Yalchin Adigezalov.

The premiere was attended by Mikhail Gusman, First Deputy Director General of TASS news agency, famous theater and film director, TV presenter, actor, public and political figure Yuli Gusman, Leonid Weinstein's son - Deputy Director General and General Producer of NTV channel Timur Weinstein and his family members, Rector of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, People's Artist Farhad Badalbeyli, and public and political figures.

It should be noted that the premiere of "Cinderella" took place in 1985 in Baku, on the stage of the Azerbaijan Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. After 35 years, amazing transformations and magic are presented on stage using large-scale decorations and modern holographic technologies.

The work is a kind musical fairy tale based on the famous "Cinderella" by Charles Perrault, full of wonders, transformations, and real magic, perfectly embodied in one of the most modern theaters in Moscow.

The opera left no viewer indifferent. According to the plot of the performance, goodness and beauty triumph over evil and envy.

At the premiere, the hospitable Storyteller invited viewers of all ages to an exciting game. The audience watched with admiration as a pumpkin magically turned into a sparkling carriage, mice into beautiful horses, Cinderella into a princess, and each female guest had the chance to try on the glass slipper.

The stage director of the performance is Ilya Ilyin, and the artistic director is Dmitry Bertman.

The opera was received with great interest by the audience.
