The President of Azerbaijan sent a congratulatory letter to his Philippine counterpart

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to his Philippine counterpart Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos.
As reported by AZERTAG, the message states:
"Dear Mr. President,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and through you all your people on the national holiday - Independence Day of the Republic of the Philippines.
I believe that in the interests of our peoples, relations between Azerbaijan and the Philippines, both on a bilateral and multilateral basis, will continue to develop in the spirit of friendship and cooperation.
On this festive day, I convey to you my best wishes, wishing the friendly people of the Philippines well-being and prosperity".
