The Gabala Triumph of Turkic Brotherhood

This week saw an event that became another glorious page in the modern history of Azerbaijan. Our Homeland hosted the XII summit of the Organization of Turkic States in the majestic city of Gabala - a place where the past meets the future, and ancient traditions intertwine with modern achievements. Gabala - the historical capital of Caucasian Albania, founded in the 4th century BC - became a symbolic space for the meeting of peoples united by common historical, cultural, and spiritual values.

The current summit confirmed not only Azerbaijan's diplomatic talent as the host state but also the increased authority of the Organization of Turkic States itself in the international arena.

President Ilham Aliyev, welcoming the participants, emphasized the unique historical significance of Gabala and expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz Republic for its successful chairmanship of the OTS. Indeed, founded relatively recently, this organization has rapidly developed into not just a platform for cooperation - it has transformed into one of the serious geopolitical centers. This thesis, expressed by President Aliyev, reflects the strategic importance of the organization, which has become a force capable of influencing world politics, ensuring peace and stability in the region and beyond.
