Euronews TV channel prepared a report on the international conference "Islamophobia: Exposing Bias and Destroying Stigmas" held in Baku.
"The third International Conference on Combating Islamophobia was held in Baku, gathering more than 120 guests from 40 countries.
The forum, held under the motto "Exposing Bias and Destroying Stereotypes," addressed the problem of growing anti-Muslim sentiment worldwide. Speakers emphasized the role of social media, the rise of far-right ideologies, and disinformation in fueling discrimination.
The event promoted interfaith dialogue, cooperation, and global action, including the creation of a new digital observatory to track cases of Islamophobia. Azerbaijan's leaders called for unity and adherence to UN resolutions, emphasizing the need for joint solutions to protect human rights and maintain religious tolerance," the report states.
