The Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army is on an official visit to Slovakia

The official visit of the First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General Kerim Veliyev, to the Slovak Republic has begun, carried out at the invitation of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of this country, Lieutenant General Daniel Zmeko.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

On the first day of the visit, an official ceremony was held to welcome the Azerbaijani delegation.

During the meeting between the Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General K. Veliyev, and his Slovak counterpart, Lieutenant General D. Zmeko, prospects for developing bilateral military cooperation were discussed, and a comprehensive exchange of views took place on a number of issues of mutual interest.

Then Colonel General K. Veliyev met with the Deputy Minister of Defense of Slovakia, Martin Vojtašovič.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation in military, military-technical, and military-educational fields.
