Directors of the Nordic and Baltic countries for Eastern Europe made an official visit to Baku.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Embassy of Sweden in Azerbaijan.
Productive and substantive meetings were held with the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev, the Special Representative of the Head of State Elchin Amirbayov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fariz Rzayev, Head of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mamed Talybov, as well as with representatives of civil society and think tanks.
"The discussions covered a wide range of issues, including the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, regional security, and bilateral relations. This visit is the second official visit in the Nordic-Baltic (NB8) format, following the visit of political directors to Baku in the spring of last year," the statement noted.
