Presidents of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan participated in the opening of the 1st stage of Khydyrly village

On July 3, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov participated in the opening of the 1st stage of the Khidirli village in Aghdam district.

As reported by BAKU.WS, Khidirli village is located northwest of Aghdam city, 3 km from the district center. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the foundation-laying ceremony of the village in October 2022. The planned area of the village territory exceeds 417 hectares. In the 1st and 2nd stages, it is planned to resettle about 6,000 people and build 1,498 private houses.

The planned area for the first stage is 170.44 hectares. At this stage, 719 families, a total of 2,951 people, are planned to be resettled in the village. As part of the first stage, 719 private houses have been built in the village. Of these, 263 are two-room, 332 are three-room, 121 are four-room, and 3 are five-room houses.

In addition, the necessary modern social infrastructure has been built in the village, including administrative and service buildings. Among the constructed facilities are a multifunctional administrative building, a club-community center, a medical point, an ambulance station, a guest house for temporary accommodation of education and healthcare workers, a consumer services facility, a workshop, a full secondary school, and a nursery-kindergarten. About 20% of the village territory is occupied by green spaces.

Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Sadyr Japarov familiarized themselves with the conditions created in the nursery-kindergarten of Khidirli village. Built with consideration for the needs of the residents settled in the village, the nursery-kindergarten is designed for 120 places. In the building, group rooms, a music room, and gymnasiums will be made available to the little ones. Necessary conditions have been created here for the upbringing and education of children, for them to feel comfortable and carefree. Green strips have been laid around the kindergarten, and sports and play areas, gazebos have been created. Solar panels have been installed on the roof of the building.

The Presidents of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan visited the club-community center in Khidirli village. The heads of state familiarized themselves with the conditions created here. The building has an assembly hall for 190 seats, a buffet, dance rehearsal halls, rooms for clubs, and administrative premises. The club-community center has all the conditions for holding various social and cultural events related to Khidirli village, as well as folk festivals and other ceremonies.

The heads of state of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan also visited the Khidirli village full secondary school named after Aykol Manas.

First, the presidents viewed the yurt installed in the school yard. The yurt, which is easily assembled and disassembled as a mobile dwelling, is designed for a nomadic lifestyle. Currently, many Turkic peoples in Central Asia are developing yurt tourism as a tourist destination.

Then the heads of state familiarized themselves with the conditions created at the school.

It should be noted that the foundation of the full secondary school for 528 students was laid by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov in April 2024. The school building consists of 5 blocks, including a block where the gymnasium is located. It is situated on an area of 2.7 hectares. There are 21 classrooms, 2 preschool preparation rooms, 2 computer science classrooms, 2 technology classrooms, a military training classroom, 3 laboratories, a library, sports and assembly halls, a dining hall, and other premises. The material and technical base of the educational institution creates all the necessary conditions for building the educational process at a high level. On the school territory, a large sports ground with a running track, a play area, and a recreation area have been created, which will serve both students and the population.

Then Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Sadyr Japarov met with residents who had moved into new apartments and handed them the keys to their homes.
