President of Slovakia: Azerbaijan is a guarantor of stability, development, and a key player in the region

I am very glad to be on an official visit to Azerbaijan, including in Karabakh, in Shusha. It is a great honor for me to be here today. My colleagues and I are witnessing the large-scale restoration work being carried out here. I want to especially emphasize your achievements in such a short period of time. It is a great honor for me that Slovak companies are also contributing to the development of this particular region. I hope that they will continue to participate in various projects.

As reported by AZERTAC, this was stated by President of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini in Shusha during a joint press statement with President Ilham Aliyev.

Peter Pellegrini noted that the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Slovakia is not limited to official documents or formal diplomatic relations, both countries are true friends, and there are many promising areas that the partners can offer each other.

"Slovakia intends to build sincere cooperation with partners, and Azerbaijan is exactly such a partner. Azerbaijan is a guarantor of stability and development, a key player in the region, as well as a place where regional transport routes and hubs converge," he added.
