President of Kyrgyzstan: Expansion of our format with the inclusion of brotherly Azerbaijan will open new opportunities for Central Asia

The Kyrgyz Republic supports the initiative for the Azerbaijani Republic to join the format of our consultative meetings as a full member. The expansion of our format through the inclusion of brotherly Azerbaijan will open new opportunities and broad horizons of cooperation for Central Asia, especially in the areas of international transit, logistics, and energy.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov at the meeting of the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States in the format of "Central Asia + Azerbaijan".

"Today we can confidently say that the format of consultative meetings of the heads of Central Asian states has been established. It has shown its viability and has become a real, one-of-a-kind platform where not only existing problems in our region are discussed, but new initiatives and proposals are also actively put forward," noted Sadyr Japarov.
