President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of Slovakia

On November 7, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Slovakia Robert Kaliňák.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Slovakia congratulated the head of state on the fifth anniversary of Victory in the Patriotic War and thanked him for the invitation to the upcoming military parade on this occasion.

The guest also conveyed greetings from the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico to President Ilham Aliyev.

The head of state expressed gratitude for the greetings and asked to convey his greetings to the Prime Minister of Slovakia.

President Ilham Aliyev highly appreciated the participation of the delegation headed by Robert Kaliňák in the military parade dedicated to the fifth anniversary of Victory in the Patriotic War, which will take place tomorrow in Baku.

The guest congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on the successes achieved in Washington in normalizing relations and the peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Expressing gratitude for the congratulations, the head of state touched upon the historical significance of documents signed with the participation of the US President to advance the peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia, emphasizing their role in ensuring lasting peace in the region.

Robert Kaliňák noted that his country is looking forward to President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Slovakia.

During the conversation, it was noted that the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia, based on mutual understanding and support, have the character of a strategic partnership, and the availability of opportunities for expanding cooperation in various fields, including military and military-industrial spheres, was emphasized.

Slovakia's support for expanding relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union and Azerbaijan and NATO was also touched upon.
