President: Azerbaijan is conducting joint work with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on creating a green energy corridor

The energy sector holds a special place in our cooperation.

As reported by AZERTAC, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev during his speech at the VIII Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Central Asia in the city of Turkmenbashi.

"Azerbaijan plays an important role in the transit of energy resources from Central Asia to international markets. Oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan is transported through the territory of our country, and the volume of these shipments is growing. Our cooperation in the field of renewable energy is steadily expanding. We are carrying out joint work with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on the creation of a green energy corridor," the head of state noted.
