On the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association, holiday gifts were presented to low-income families on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis of the World and the New Year.
As reported by BAKU.WS, during the charity event held within the framework of the Bizim mətbəx social project with the participation of volunteers, 200 low-income families living in the Garadagh district of Baku and the city of Yevlakh received food packages.
The aim of the project is to support socially vulnerable segments of the population and strengthen the spirit of solidarity in society by providing food aid to low-income families and people in need. Since its launch, the program has covered hundreds of thousands of people in Baku and surrounding areas.
It should be noted that the Bizim mətbəx project website (https://bizimmetbex.az/) has been functioning for more than a year. The platform provides functions for those who wish to join the initiative as a volunteer or make a donation.
