Mikail Jabbarov met with the Director-General of the European Commission for Enlargement and Eastern Neighborhood Policy

Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikail Jabbarov met with the Director-General of the European Commission for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEST) Gert Jan Koopman.

As reported by BAKU.WS, during the meeting, the importance that Azerbaijan attaches to economic cooperation with the European Union (EU) was emphasized.

It was noted that the country's favorable business climate provides ample opportunities for European investors.

The parties discussed the current state of mutual economic cooperation and prospects for its future development. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of EU support for regional transport initiatives and Azerbaijan's connectivity projects.
