Leyla Aliyeva visited the Comprehensive Cancer Treatment and Research Center in Muscat

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva visited the Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Treatment and Research Center in Muscat, the capital of Oman.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAG, Leyla Aliyeva was met at the Center by the Executive Director of the medical complex Siham Sinania.

The Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation familiarized herself with various departments of the Center, examined modern medical equipment used in the treatment of the disease.

At the end, gifts were presented on behalf of Leyla Aliyeva to the medical center for patients undergoing treatment there.

It should be noted that this complex was established by the order of the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said to provide medical care to cancer patients.

This medical institution received the international accreditation certificate from the Joint Commission International (JCI) in 2023. The complex is the first public health institution in Oman among medical centers to receive such international accreditation in a short period.
