On September 22, an exhibition "Treasures Behind the Doors of Anatolia" opened at the Turkish House in New York City, USA, at the initiative of Turkey's First Lady Emine Erdogan.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the founder and head of the IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva participated in the exhibition.
The purpose of the exhibition, which displays art samples and handmade items from ancient civilizations, is to promote Anatolian culture and encourage intercultural dialogue.
Turkey's First Lady Emine Erdogan said that this event, while revealing the subtleties of Anatolian culture deeply rooted in history, also proves the necessity of studying the thousand-year experience and skills of the Anatolian people in the modern era as well.
Emine Erdogan noted that the "Zero Waste" principle, aimed at environmental protection, is a priority direction in the geography of Anatolia not only in the modern period but was also so in ancient times.
The exhibition covers three main themes: "Fertility of the Land," "Kitchen Heritage," and "Skill of Hands," dedicated to the rich diversity of Anatolian products.
