Leaders of religious confessions of Azerbaijan congratulated the president

Members of the Advisory Council of Religious Confessions of Azerbaijan congratulated the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on being awarded the international "Zayed Award for Human Fraternity".

As reported by BAKU.WS, the congratulation emphasized that Azerbaijan's exemplary model of interreligious cooperation, multiculturalism, and interfaith understanding is receiving recognition worldwide.

The congratulatory letter was signed by the chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, Bishop of Baku and Azerbaijan of the Russian Orthodox Church Alexiy, Ordinary of the Apostolic Prefecture of the Roman Catholic Church in Azerbaijan Vladimir Fekete, head of the Mountain Jews Community of Azerbaijan Milikh Evdaev, chairman of the Baku Religious Community of European Jews Alexander Sharovsky, chairman of the Albanian-Udi Christian Religious Community Robert Mobili, and chairman of the Religious Community of Sephardic Jews in Baku Zamir Isayev.
