Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting in Gabala with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha during the visit of the President of Ukraine to the country.
This was reported on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan's page on the social network X.
The parties discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of deepening cooperation in the political, economic, energy, and humanitarian spheres. Opportunities for expanding interaction in the areas of trade, communications, and within international organizations were also considered.
The ministers exchanged views on regional and global processes, reaffirmed mutual support for sovereignty and territorial integrity, and noted the importance of continuing active dialogue and partnership between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
In addition, the parties signed an Agreement on Legal Assistance in Civil and Commercial Matters, which will strengthen the legal framework of bilateral relations.
