Ilham Aliyev: We can be proud of the successes achieved this year in economic development

We can be proud of the achievements made this year in economic development.

As reported by BAKU.WS, President Ilham Aliyev said this in his address on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year.

Emphasizing that Azerbaijan's foreign exchange reserves have reached a historic record - more than 80 billion dollars, the head of state said that the country's external debt has decreased even further and today constitutes only 6.3% of the gross domestic product. The President noted that our foreign exchange reserves exceed the external debt by 16 times.
