Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening ceremony of the 7th European Political Community Summit

On October 2, the opening ceremony of the 7th Summit of the European Political Community was held in the Danish capital Copenhagen.

As reported by AZERTAG, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the event.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen welcomed President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and other heads of state and government participating in the summit.

It should be noted that heads of state and government from approximately 50 countries in total are participating in the 7th Summit of the European Political Community.

Topics such as the general security situation in Europe, the Russia-Ukraine war, economic security, migration, traditional and hybrid threats will be discussed at plenary sessions and subsequent roundtables.

The European Political Community is an intergovernmental platform designed to promote political and economic coordination between small and large countries both within and outside the European Union in order to strengthen cooperation in areas such as security, economic stability, and democratic governance. The goal of the community is to develop political dialogue and cooperation to address issues of common interest, as well as to strengthen the security, stability and prosperity of the European continent.
