On August 11, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of a social housing complex consisting of 518 apartments in the city of Nakhchivan.
As reported by AZERTAC, Chairman of the Board of the State Housing Construction Agency Sadig Sadigov informed the head of state about the conditions that will be created in the complex.
It was noted that a land plot of approximately 5 hectares has been allocated for the construction of multi-apartment residential buildings (subsidized housing) in the city of Nakhchivan.
The complex will include 16 six- and seven-story buildings. There will be a total of 518 apartments. Of these, 93 will be one-bedroom, 37 will be two-bedroom, 351 will be three-bedroom, and 37 will be four-bedroom.
The necessary infrastructure for the comfort of residents will be created in the residential complex. A kindergarten and public catering facilities are planned to be built here. The complex will be equipped with electricity, gas, and water supply systems, as well as a sewage drainage system. Roads and sidewalks are planned to be laid on the territory, and landscaping and greening works will be carried out.
The head of state was also informed about the already implemented and planned projects of the State Housing Construction Agency.
