It is gratifying that recently relations between Azerbaijan and the United States have been developing successfully, demonstrating an upward trend. We highly value the strategic partnership established between our countries and express gratitude for the great importance that You invariably attach to strengthening our interstate relations, as well as for Your constant support in this matter. I am confident that the Charter on Strategic Partnership signed in February, which elevated our relations to a qualitatively new level, will give a new impetus to the development of our partnership not only in such traditional areas as economy, energy, transport connectivity and security, but also in the spheres of digital transformation, artificial intelligence and other important areas.

As reported by AZERTAC, this was stated in the congratulatory message of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, sent to President Donald Trump on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.

"We also express our deep gratitude for Your decisive efforts to advance the peace agenda in the South Caucasus and to promote sustainable development in the region. The outcomes of the historic trilateral meeting held on August 8 of last year at the White House on Your initiative created an entirely new and positive atmosphere in our region. Today, Azerbaijan and Armenia live in peace and are establishing trade relations. I would also like to particularly note Your country's constant support for the implementation of infrastructure projects that contribute to regional stability and economic development, especially the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, which will provide an alternative, reliable and secure connection between Asia and Europe," the head of state emphasized.
