Based on the telephone conversation held on March 8, 2026, between the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian, today, March 18, 2026, another batch of humanitarian aid was sent to Iran to meet the current needs of the neighboring and friendly Iranian people.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the humanitarian aid being sent to the Islamic Republic includes various food products, medicines, and medical supplies totaling 82 tons.

Specifically, the aid consists of 76 tons of food and foodstuffs, 4 tons of medicines, and 2 tons of medical supplies.

The humanitarian cargo is being delivered by five heavy-duty trucks (long-haul vehicles).

Given that the humanitarian aid is being sent on the eve of the Novruz holiday, appropriate gifts and festive treats have also been added to the trucks.

It should be noted that the first batch of humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan to Iran was sent on March 10.
