Hassan Sheikh Mohamud sent a letter to Ilham Aliyev

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud sent a letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:

"Your Excellency.

I convey to you, the government and the brotherly people of the Republic of Azerbaijan my most sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the sacred holiday of Ramadan.

The holiday of Ramadan, which unites Muslims around the world in the spirit of mercy, kindness and peace, is a time of spiritual reflection, unity and renewal. I wish that this blessed holiday brings joy, well-being and lasting harmony to the people and government of Azerbaijan.

The Federal Republic of Somalia attaches great importance to the friendly relations and cooperation between our countries. We hope for further strengthening of bilateral ties in the coming years.

Your Excellency, please accept my deepest respect. I wish you good health and continued success".
