Haber Global TV channel prepared a report in connection with the beginning of the Turkic World Week, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkology Congress, taking place in Baku.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the material notes that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sent an address to the participants of the event. In his letter, he once again emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation among Turkic states. The leader of the brotherly country also touched upon the significance of the First Turkology Congress, held in Baku in 1926 and considered a turning point in the scientific history of the Turkic world.
Erdoğan emphasized that the intellectuals who participated in the congress demonstrated resolute will and foresight through their consultations and decisions.
Erdoğan also noted that Azerbaijan continues to contribute to the achievement of common goals of Turkic states today.
