Embassy of the Russian Federation: 500 Russians are on the lists for departure from Iran through Azerbaijan
The Russian Embassy in Baku reported that there are currently 500 Russians on the lists for departure from Iran through Azerbaijan.
This is reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TASS.
"The Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan is providing assistance to Russian citizens departing from Iran through the border crossing point in Astara... At the moment, there are already about 500 of our compatriots on the lists for departure through Azerbaijan," the diplomatic mission added.
The Embassy expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for its assistance, including the prompt consideration of issues related to issuing permits for border crossing.
