Did the USA suspend the issuance of all types of visas for citizens of Azerbaijan?

The US Embassy in Azerbaijan has made an official statement in response to claims circulating in local media about the suspension of all types of visas for citizens of 75 countries, including Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the US diplomatic mission published a special clarification on this matter.

"We inform you that the information being circulated does not correspond to reality. The mentioned pause applies only to immigrant visas (for permanent residence) and does not apply to non-immigrant visa applications for tourism, business trips, students, and exchange programs. The acceptance of applications for non-immigrant visas at the US Embassy in Baku continues as usual," the official statement says.
