As Report informs, this was stated by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the opening of the VIII Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan in Avaza.

He also emphasized the growing significance of Central Asia and Azerbaijan in regional and global processes.
"Currently, the role of Central Asia and Azerbaijan in regional and global processes as the most important logistics and energy development centers is steadily growing," he said.
The President of Turkmenistan also stressed that the geopolitical situation in the world is rapidly changing.
"I am convinced that today we can set truly large-scale strategic goals for ourselves. The dynamic growth of our countries' economies, their diversification, and the improvement of qualitative and technological levels allow us to significantly expand partnership business ties in common interests and on mutually beneficial terms," he said.
According to him, at the same time, strengthening our common cultural and spiritual heritage and developing the humanitarian component of cooperation remains a priority.
