Bayramov and Bochorishvili discussed the strategic significance of the South Caucasus
Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held talks with his Georgian counterpart Maka Bochorishvili on the sidelines of the 10th trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia in Istanbul.
This was reported in a post by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the social network X.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to the implementation of joint projects, including the Southern Gas Corridor, the Middle Corridor, and other connectivity initiatives.
During the talks, the growing strategic importance of the South Caucasus as a key corridor connecting Europe and Asia was emphasized. The ministers also discussed the current state and prospects of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
