Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Baku reserves the right to respond after drone attacks from Iran
The Azerbaijani side reserves the right to take adequate retaliatory steps in connection with the drone attack on Nakhchivan from the territory of Iran.
This is stated in an official statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan, published in connection with the drone incident.
The document emphasizes that this attack on the territory of Azerbaijan contradicts the norms and principles of international law and also contributes to the escalation of tensions in the region.
As a reminder, on March 5, unmanned aerial vehicle attacks on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were carried out from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Two people were injured as a result of the incident.
