Arutyunyan stated that he received information about the bombing of Ganja from the Chief of the General Staff of the RA Army

At the ongoing trial on March 14 in the Baku Military Court, the accused Araik Harutyunyan answered questions from prosecutors supporting the state prosecution regarding the missile attack on civilian infrastructure and the peaceful population of Ganja city.
As Report informs, Harutyunyan stated that he received information about this from the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Onik Gasparyan.
"The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia was Onik Gasparyan. I had a conversation with the Chief of the General Staff. At the first stage, he informed me about the strike on the airport located in Ganja. And after that, I had no further contact with him," he said.
It should be noted that the trial continues against citizens of Armenia accused of crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, including the preparation and conduct of aggressive war, genocide, violation of the laws and rules of warfare, as well as terrorism, financing of terrorism, forcible seizure and retention of power, and many other crimes.
