Akhliman Amiraslanov and Abel Maharramov joined the leadership of the Council of Elders

New deputy chairmen of the Council of Elders of Azerbaijan (CEA) have been appointed.

As reported by Yeni Sabah, the corresponding orders were signed by the CEA Chairman, Member of the Milli Majlis Eldar Guliyev.

According to the decree, the chairman of the parliamentary health committee, academician Akhliman Amiraslanov, has been appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Elders.

At the same time, the chairman of the Disciplinary Commission of the Milli Majlis, Professor Eldar Ibrahimov, MP Agalar Veliyev, head of the Gəncəli production and commercial company, businessman Bayram Yusifov, chairman of the Chamber of Auditors, Doctor of Economics, Professor Vahid Novruzov, former MP Tahir Suleymanov, and former rector of Baku State University, academician Abel Maharramov have been appointed deputy chairmen of the CEA.

It should be noted that the aforementioned individuals had previously held the positions of deputy chairmen of the Council of Elders. In accordance with the organization's Charter, after a congress is held, the leadership is formed anew. The IX congress of the council took place on April 23, after which CEA head Eldar Guliyev signed orders on the reappointment of his deputies.
