In Baku, a victory march of servicemen accompanied by a military orchestra is taking place, dedicated to November 8 - Victory Day.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the march began with a minute of silence in memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the heroes who fell for the territorial integrity of the Homeland. After that, to the sounds of military orchestras, the procession was launched.

The march participants chant slogans: "Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief!", "Congratulations on the Victory, Azerbaijan!", "Martyrs are immortal, the Homeland is indivisible!", "Karabakh is Azerbaijan!".

The victory procession starts from Gazanfar Musabekov Park and passes along Abdurrahim bey Akhverdiyev Street, Huseyn Javid Avenue and Parliament Avenue, ending at the Alley of Martyrs.

Simultaneously, processions are organized in other districts of the capital. The routes run from the Alley of Martyrs through the "Flame Towers" - "Icherisheher" - Fortress Gate - Puppet Theater - Azneft Square - Monument to Bahram Gur, as well as from "Olympic Star" along Samed Vurgun Street - Officers Park - Baku State Circus - Heydar Aliyev Palace - Monument to Imadeddin Nasimi - Neftchilar Avenue.

Note that November 8 - Victory Day was established by the decree of President Ilham Aliyev on December 3, 2020.
