A meeting of parliamentary delegations from Azerbaijan and Armenia took place

Today, within the framework of the 23rd autumn session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly taking place in Istanbul, a bilateral meeting between the parliamentary delegations of Azerbaijan and Armenia was held.

As reported to BAKU.WS by the press and public relations department of the Milli Mejlis, the meeting was held in accordance with the agreements reached during the negotiations between the speakers of the parliaments of the two countries on October 21, 2025, in Geneva.

The parties noted the positive role of the Washington summit and exchanged views on the agreements reached and further steps to strengthen peace between our states. Special attention was paid to the importance of supporting this process by the parliaments of both countries.

The participants of the conversation emphasized the role of parliaments in implementing measures to build trust between the two countries, as well as the importance of maintaining constructive dialogue between members of parliaments within the framework of international organizations.
