6 years have passed since the liberation of Hadrut

Today marks the fifth anniversary of the liberation of the town of Hadrut in the Khojavend district from occupation.

On October 9, 2020, the Azerbaijani army wrote a new page in its glorious history by liberating a number of territories of our country from occupation.

The President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev delivered the joyful news that replaced the pain of losing our lands with a feeling of freedom. In his post on the social network X (at that time Twitter — ed.), the head of state announced the liberation of the town of Hadrut and the village of Sor in the Khojavend district, the village of Chayli in the Terter district, the villages of Gishlag, Garajalli, Efendiler, and Suleymanli in the Jabrayil district, as well as the villages of Yukhari Guzlek and Gorazilli in the Fuzuli district.
