The main digital award of Azerbaijan NETTY 2025 continues accepting applications!
In Azerbaijan, the acceptance of applications for participation in the National Internet Award NETTY2025 continues. More than 140 projects have already been submitted for the award.
In 2025, NETTY will evaluate resources in the following main categories:
• E-government and digitalization
• Digital economy, business and startups
• Innovation, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence
• Science, education and digital literacy
• Media, culture and creative content
• 21st century lifestyle and tourism
• Technologies for society and inclusivity
NETTY is today the most important platform in Azerbaijan where you can make yourself known, present your project to the general public and the expert community.
Each nomination consists of three directions: websites, applications, and social media pages. A winner will be determined for each direction in each nomination. Participants are evaluated according to the following 3 criteria: idea, content, execution.
70% of resources currently participating in the competition are websites. The remaining participants are currently divided between social media pages and applications.
At the moment, the most participants are in the "Digital economy, business and startups" nomination, and the least are in the "E-government and digitalization" nomination.
Since 2009, NETTY has also included the honorary nomination "IT Event of the Year." Applications for this nomination also started on October 20. This nomination identifies and rewards key projects in the Azerbaijani high-tech market. The nomination is initiated by the NETTY award organizing committee and the InfoCity magazine editorial board.
Applications for contest participants are being accepted on the website www.netty.az and will continue until November 24. From November 25 to December 5, the Expert Council and Virtual Jury will vote to form the list of nominees. On December 6, the NETTY Academy will begin voting to determine the winners from among the nominees. Winners will be determined in each of the directions across the main nominations.
The NETTY 2025 winners are officially announced at a formal awards ceremony. All contest nominees are invited to the event. During the ceremony, nominees and winners receive diplomas and the official NETTY award, as well as gifts from contest partners. Media attention and internet audience coverage are ensured.
Before voting begins, there are several ways to become part of the contest - become a participant, a virtual jury member, a contest expert, or a partner.
"Participants" - users who have registered their projects, web resources, social media pages, or applications on the award website.
"Virtual Jury" is formed from internet users. Users who register on the award website via social networks can become jury members and participate in the selection of contest nominees. The jury selects three nominees from the total number of contest participants in the "Virtual Jury Choice" nomination.
"Expert Council" is formed by personal invitation from the contest organizing committee and consists of specialists in design, programming, marketing, journalism, etc. The Expert Council selects three nominees in each nomination, for each direction.
"NETTY Academy" is represented by authoritative individuals engaged in public, government, and business structures of Azerbaijan. The Academy determines the single winner of the award in each nomination for each direction.
