NEWS.ru: Emin Agalarov spoke about the potential for developing relations between Russia and Azerbaijan
Relations between Russia and Azerbaijan can be assessed as good, as has already been stated by high-level Azerbaijani officials.
As reported by NEWS.ru, this was stated by Emin Agalarov, president of Agalarov Development, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. He noted that bilateral relations will continue to develop further.
"I think the directive already exists, and I am glad that today, officially within the framework of the business council at SPIEF, we were able to hear that our relations are not just good — they will continue to develop further, including trade turnover, tourism, and all other areas," Agalarov said.
The businessman also noted that he adores St. Petersburg. According to him, the Northern Capital is the best city.
Earlier, Agalarov stated that he sincerely believes in the impossibility of bad relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. The business council session, in his assessment, showed that sensitive issues between the two countries have been resolved.
Previously, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin stated that the trusting dialogue between the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, has brought the countries' ties to a qualitatively new level. According to him, the principles on which Moscow-Baku relations are built can also include a shared linguistic space and well-established multifaceted ties between the two peoples.
