Which country sends the largest amount of cargo to the Baku port?

The main direction of cargo flow to the Baku International Sea Trade Port is from east to west.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Oxu.Az, this was stated by the port director Eldar Salakhov during a media tour.

According to him, about 38-40% of cargo consists of imported and transit goods from China:

"Especially recently, there has been a significant increase in the transportation of Chinese-made automobiles and spare parts. In addition, cooperation with our traditional trading partners - Switzerland, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Georgia - is actively expanding."
